The death toll has continued to rise after a number of tornadoes and thunderstorms hit the Southern part of the United States. The number of deaths currently estimated is 305. This is simply the worst tornado mortality that the country has experienced in more than 40 years.
Nearly 200 people have lost their lives in state of Alabama. Speaking to the press on Thursday, Governor, Robert Bentley, announced that the total number of deaths will not be known for another couple of days.
