Here is a list of the best local golfers out there at the moment.
Fred Couples is probably the best male golfer right now in state history. He is currently alternating between the Champions Tour and PGA Tour. After finishing as runner up to Bernhard Langer last year in the U.S Senior Open, he will be captaining the national team in later this year for the President’s Cup.
Another one to watch is Andres Gonzales, who has played on the Canadian Tour previously.
Ryan Moore has made his name in 2004 when he won the NCAA individual championship, Sahalee Players Championship and a few other tours. He has however had several injuries during his pro career.
Other players to look for on the PGA Tour include Alex Prugh, Michael Putman, Kyle Stanley and Kirk Triplett.
Nationwide Tour
Some of the players you should look forward to include the likes of Jeff Gove, Troy Kelly and Brock MacEnzie.
