Deadliest Tornadoes in History

Standing behind a yellow police tape, Maria Angelica Alvarez was looking on, having lost 3 sons during the tornadoes that hit the U.S.  She is just one of many people who lost everything they had.

The U.S actually experienced 241 tornadoes since last Thursday, and more than 50 of them affected North Carolina, damaging farms and houses in Bertie County, where it is believed that 11 people have lost their lives. The number of deaths in North Carolina alone had soared to more than 22 people; there have also been victims in Virginia, Arkansas, Alabama, Oklahoma and Mississippi.
