Google has announced during the weekend that it is planning to shut down its video service. So, in case you have uploaded any video to Google Video, make sure you have saved it on your computer.
This move by Google is hardly a surprise, given the fact that Google actually owns the leading online video content website which is YouTube. In fact, Google took control of YouTube just a year after it had launched its own video service in 2005.
