Did the Boston Celtics Win Today?
The New York Knicks were defeated by Boston Celtics, who became the first side to be qualified for the next round of the NBA playoffs. The Celtics won by 101-89 in New York’s Madison Square Garden.
This latest defeat leaves the Knicks with no win in the playoffs since the April 2001. Meanwhile, the Celtics have a week off to prepare for their second round encounter with the Philadelphia 76ers or Miami. Celtics coach, Rivers, was satisfied with the performance of his side and felt they had prepared themselves well for the playoffs.
