The third Transformers movie is coming out soon and director Michael bay has come up with a promise that the story line will be more mature. The trailer could not prove otherwise. The third series will again be full of action, action and of course action.

The official trailer of the movie is out. Transformers 3 will be a star studded cast and will include the likes of Shia Labeouf, Frances McDormand, Tyrese Gibson, John Turtorro, Patrick Dempsey and model Rosie Huntigton-Whitely who will take the role of Megan Fox as Shia’s lover.

The movie will include the Ferrari 458 Italia which will play the part of an Autobot. Three Nascar Chevrolet Impalas will feature in the movie in the Autobot group of Wreckers. These were initially called the Decepticons.

The third installment of the Transformer series will be released on the 1^st of July. People from Paramount have released a teaser which will definitely please fans.

iCloud Changes Hands

Rumors have been circulating that Apple has spent some $4.5 million to Sweden-based company, Xcerion to acquire its iCloud storage service. The deal also included the domain name iCloud.com. This piece of news has fired up speculations that Apple is looking to use the domain name for a cloud-based music service.

Meanwhile, Xcerion have recently rebranded their iCloud service as CloudMe. TechCrunch have contacted the company to enquire whether the name change was enforced by Apple. However, representatives of the company denied it had been the case. Xcerion have now purchased the domain name CloudMe.com to better reflect their focus on storage and files, according to the spokespersons. No mention about Apple was made during any intervention by the company.

The purchase was confirmed on the 29^th April 2011. Apple have got what they were looking for at a price and it remains to be seen whether the rebranding process will affect Xcerion.

Charlie Sheen Donates

Charlie Sheen has promised to make a donation to a fund set up for Bryan Stow. The 42 year old man, father of two and paramedic, was severely beaten during the Dodger’s home opener against the San Francisco Giants.

Profits made from merchandise sold at Sheen’s San Francisco show will be donated by the former ‘Two and a Half Men’ star.

Stow is still in a coma and has suffered damage to both frontal lobes. Doctors have started to decrease the sedations given to induce a coma. Stow was attacked by 2 men, who repeatedly hit him in the head.

A massive $175,000 reward has been set up to find details of the two suspects with Giants pitcher, Tim Lincecum contributing $25,000. Others who contributed to raise this sum include Tom Leykis, the Dodgers and Stow’s employers, American Medical Response.

According to the police, around 100 people have witnessed the savage attack and they are pleaded to come forward with information.

Michael Mahrt, a Save The Children staff, reported that while the reports of sexual violence are unconfirmed, the reports have been consistently repeated in a number of camps where families are in temporary refuge.

After the economic crises, the American economy was revived before stumbling again in early 2011. Whether or not this event is transitory remains to be seen. The chairman of the Federal Reserve, Ben Bernanke, believes it is only a temporary decline in the economy.

When you think about it, it makes sense that the dip in the economic growth is only temporary. Part of the first quarter decrease was probably due to a weakness in the growth rate of exports. However, that is unlikely to last as developing economies keep on expanding. Severe weather has further haltered the ability of the second quarter growth to cover for spending. Military spending has also reportedly decreased.

Two women have decided to sue Google after it emerged that Google was tracking locations of their Android phones without the consent of the users. This news comes just a week after it was revealed that Apple used the iPhones to record and store data about the locations of the device, and of course the users. Google’s android phones have now been shown to be able to send the name, location and strength of surrounding WiFi networks and even a phone identifier back to the company.

The NFL needs some credit for having always insisted that there should be a 2011 draft. However, this fact was used against them in court.

Judge Susan Nelson decided to void the lockout and followed that with a ruling against a stay request made by the owners. This would have delayed the start of the NFL season.

The NFL would have been better served to delay the draft. Not willing to distance an already weakening fan base, the NFL cunningly decided that it would have been too much to ask football fans to digest a delay of the most anticipated event in months.

Tornado Alley

The death toll has continued to rise after a number of tornadoes and thunderstorms hit the Southern part of the United States. The number of deaths currently estimated is 305. This is simply the worst tornado mortality that the country has experienced in more than 40 years.

Nearly 200 people have lost their lives in state of Alabama. Speaking to the press on Thursday, Governor, Robert Bentley, announced that the total number of deaths will not be known for another couple of days.

At least seven people-including a police officer- from Arkansas to Alabama were killed owing to the violent weather that ripped through the South for another night. The powerful storms has damaged homes in rural Texas community and spread destruction into Georgia and Tennessee

The severe storms in Georgia uprooted trees, blew out windows in a hospital and destroyed part of a school roof. A tornado warning has been issued in North and Central Georgia as more thunderstorms are to be expected later Wednesday.

Insulation and metal roof panels littered the grounds as Police officers did their routine check-walking down the streets in search of people who might have been stuck in the destroyed houses, spray-painting symbols at the houses that they have checked for people who might be inside.

Loyal PlayStation gamers have threatened to quit Sony Corp after it announced that the personal data of about 77 million user accounts were stolen from its computer systems-this is believed to be one of the biggest-ever data breaches. If there is one thing which users cannot tolerate, it is knowing that their personal information have been stolen and privacy rules made by the company have been violated.

Estimates by Ponemon claim that the break may cost Sony on average $20 per subscriber which amounts to more than $1.5 billion. Scientists Wait for BP Funds

A year after the BP oil tragedy in the Gulf of Mexico, there is now hope that some money will be made available to research the extent of the impact of the oil spills in the region. The $500 million fund released by BP is being controlled by the Gulf of Mexico Research Initiative Research Board, which is waiting for research proposals, according to a statement released today.

Scientists had been waiting desperately for the funds. The fund was set up to provide $50 million each year for 10 years to study 5 particular aspects related to oil spills. These are oil dispersions, environmental impacts and restoration, health effects, degradation and technologies for cleanup and mitigation.

Human Cannonball Dies

Detling was home to a human cannonball show on Monday. However, all went wrong as a man taking part in the event, was killed, according to Kent police.

The incident took place at the Kent County Showground when a safety net failed to engage according to witnesses. Not much detail was released about the man, except that he was in his 20s. His body was not formally identified and his relatives have now been informed of what happened.

Wall Street Forecasts about Intel Were Wrong

Intel Corp. beat Wall Street predictions on Tuesday by announcing a first quarter profit of $3.2 billion on revenue of $12.85 billion. Analyst had forecast that Intel would earn 46 cents a share compared to the actual 56 cents according to a survey by Thomson Reuters.

This discrepancy in calculations has been mainly due to conflicting views on trends in the computer industry. Previous reports had suggested a weakening market according to analyst, Cody Acree. Chief Executive Paul Otellini added that forecasts made ignored the fact that there are emerging markets for Intel, which include places like China and Latin America, which accounts for approximately half of Intel’s business.

Apple and Samsung Lock Horns

According to Samsung, Apple is not respecting its wireless technology patents. However, as reported previously, it was Apple who decided to file a lawsuit against the South Korean based technology giant. Two robots donated by iRobot Corp have explored Japan’s damaged nuclear reactor on Sunday and were able to capture information that suggested that the radiation levels there were still much above the acceptable limits for humans.
