In a further blow to investor confidence, Nasdaq officials have admitted hackers penetrated their networks.
The company admitted on Saturday a service that handles confidential communications had been accessed.
The targeted application was Directors Desk, used by 10,000 execs worldwide for 
online discussions, web conferencing and sharing documents. It seems likely the hack was designed to plan malware.
