The deposed Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak reportedly has a fortune of US$70 billion, which could make him the world's richest man.
The fortune is tied up in banks and real estate but would put him ahead of other multi billion dollar magnates, even Microsoft's Bill Gates who has US$53 billion.
Mubarak and his family have accumulated wealth since his days as an air force officer and during his three decades in power.
