Hong Dong is now officially the world's most expensive dog.
The 11-month old red Tibetan mastiff sold for $1.6 million this week.
The new owner of Hong Dong, or Big Splash in English, is a multi millionaire from northern China. And it's estimated he'll need his extra cash just to feed the 82kg pup that could grow to as much as 130kg and live for 14 years.
When you consider a large adult male human weighs about 100kg, that's quite a lot 
of dog.
