Tensions boiled over at Hoxton Park High School in Sydney's west yesterday over racist comments on a Facebook site between "Lebs" and "Aussies".
Derogatory comments made on the social network site and ongoing violence came to a head on Wednesday afternoon when a 14-year-old student was attacked.
The alleged victim said, "I don't know whey they chose me" but that it was racially motivated.
Parent Zahra Elasmar said she had written to the Department of Education and Training about problems at the school but nothing had been done.
Her friends and relatives gathered at the school and allegedly clashed with police who used capsicum spray to subdue the crowd and made six arrests.
